Our Big Idea

A New Life and Purpose

Built in 1910, the Willows Mansion is surrounded by 47.5 acres of public park with breathtaking water, meadow, woodland and garden views. Closed for nearly a decade, the deteriorating mansion sits idle while park-life carries on. Let’s unlock its potential so the mansion can become the epicenter of the park experience.

My family made so many special memories at the Willows Mansion, thrilled to hear it lives again.

A self-sustaining community center that offers interesting programming like Tai Chi and bird watching is a perfect use for the mansion and great investment for our community.

I’m a regular walker at the Willows Park and the vacant mansion has been a bit of a dark shadow. Can’t wait to see the revitalized version and take in the views from its terrace.

Most mansions like the Willows have little public access. I like that it will be for the public’s use and enjoyment – that’s different.

My husband and I were married at the Willows Mansion and it has been my secret hope that one of our children might marry there too.

Inspired by Nature. Built for Community.

The mansion will be the new place to meet friends, relax and experience the restorative benefits of nature.
